The 2013 Oilfield Calendar Project

Have you always wanted to be famous? Have your work of art hanging in homes all across America {and beyond!}? Now’s your chance! Okay, well maybe we can’t promise you overnight stardom, but if you have ever dreamed of having your oilfield photography published, your dream might be coming true!

Real Oilfield Wives is looking for submissions for their 2013 Oilfield Calendar! That’s right! We appreciate all the hard work and sweat that goes into the oilfield industry and we want to showcase your best photos in our calendar!

The Rules:

  • You must OWN the image you are submitting for possible use in the calendar.
  • You may submit as many images as you like, but must have a separate release for each image.
  • No recognizable faces/landmarks may be used.
  • Images need to be quality and high resolution {no camera phones!}.
  • Submissions will be accepted through November 1st, 2012.
  • Photographers whose images are chosen for the calendar will be notified via email on or around November 15, 2012.
  • Send image via email to,along with the following release:
    • {your name}, photographer and copyright owner, grants to Real Oilfield Wives/The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans, LLC the usage rights of {description of image} for the 2013 Oilfield Calendar with the photo credit of ‘Copyright 2013 {your name} ’ accompanying the image in the calendar. Permission is also granted permission to use this photo in promotion of the calendar
  • We will also be using a “fan favorite” photo -we will showcase all eligible photos submitted on and fans will vote for their favorite photo! The voting period will run in the beginning of November.
  • Real Oilfield Wives will choose 11 photos for the calendar, and the fan favorite photo with the most votes will also be a calendar finalist. We may make slight edits and crops as needed on all final photos used in the calendar.
