Thankful Three {November 15}

All through November and December, we are sharing our thanks with our oilfield wives community. Make sure you join in with your thankful three, so we can all have the warm fuzzies, m’kay?

This week, I am thankful for the baby taking a few REAL naps. Like, the kind of naps where she sleeps more than 20 minutes, and where she doesn’t pull herself up in the crib every 5 seconds and then scream because she can’t get down. It’s amazing how much I can get done in that hour to myself in the morning! Success!

I am thankful that yesterday, I did not eat any junkfood whatsoever. NONE. I have been ravenous and eating horribly for gawd knows how long now and have been trying to get back on track to lose weight and get fit {again}. Sure, it’s only one day, but it’s a start and I feel damn good about it today! That should carry me through another day, right?

I am also thankful for online grocery ordering and delivery. We were snowed in for days and didn’t leave the house, plus we’ve had the sickies around here, and by Monday, we had little to no food or milk. I didn’t dare take the kids out to go grocery shopping, so gave in and ordered groceries to be delivered {after I had plowed and shoveled, of course}. Amen to that.

What are you thankful for this week? No repeats!
